When on a road trip in Utah to its 5 National Parks and many state parks this video shows why its a good idea to stop along the way. Bluff UT is a town of just 245 people just north of Goosenecks State park and Monument Valley. It has nice places to spend the night and several places to explore without the crowds you'll find in the National Parks.
I walk you through its faithful 1880s fort that includes original Wagons and and other artifacts from the period in houses of the original pioneers.
Then I take you down the road to Sand Island Petroglyph Panel which is on a huge cliff face. We then explore Butler Wash and some of its many Ruins. and I take you on my search for the Wolfman Rock art Panel.
Bluff is also close to recapture pocket which is like Goblin Valley without crowds. Bluff is a great base to visiting Natural Bridges National Monument, the Moki Dugway, Muley Point, Valley of the Gods. And even Mon Valley and Goosenecks State Park.
