Here is part 9 of my Final Fantasy 7 Remake Let's Play!
In this episode, Cloud and Aerith settle into Sector 5 and spend some time helping out the locals with a few jobs around the slums. Just as things start to feel calm, the peace is broken when Rude of the Turks shows up to capture Aerith, forcing us into a tough fight! After driving him off, the danger around Aerith becomes clearer than ever.
Back at her home, Elmyra secretly asks Cloud to leave Aerith behind for her own safety. Cloud agrees, but when he tries to sneak out in the middle of the night, Aerith is waiting right at the gate—playful and determined as ever. Cloud has no choice but to let her come along, and the two of them begin the trek toward Sector 7, heading into the ruins and collapsed highways together.
