Replacing a broken septic line with a Harbor Freight backhoe trencher

Earlier in the year, we had patched a section of our septic line that had been broken and infiltrated by roots. In this video, we get around to replacing the whole line using schedule 40 PVC. To seal the pipe going into the cement tank we used Quickcrete hydraulic water stop cement. The Harbor Freight backhoe trencher made quick work of digging through the roots and rocks to get to the pipe.

Once a year, we put Roebic FRK Foaming Tree Root Killer (Roebic FRK Foaming Tree Root Killer) down our toilet to help prevent root infiltration on the pipes.
