A teacher tells of his experience being illegally detained and sent to military facility for conscription in the west of Ukraine, while travelling on a school outing. In June 2024, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported that the ratio of volunteer soldiers to conscripts was 1 to 3, that is for every volunteer soldier there are 3 conscripted soldiers.
