(CDI) of Phoenix, Maryland, USA (acting as Explosives Subcontractor to Main Demolition Contractor, Central Surplus of Florence, Alabama) performs the preparation for and successful explosives felling of two (2), 65-meter hub height, Vestas V-47 Wind Turbine Units being decommissioned in Lincoln, Nebraska on July 2, 2024. The wind turbines were felled in directions that facilitated the post-felling removal of debris and site restoration while mitigating risk to traffic on nearby farm roads and elevated powerlines.
