Albanian village life & friendly locals (We did not expect this!) - LEKDUSH, ALBANIA TRAVEL VLOG

Our favorite day in Albania so far.
Maybe our favorite day EVER, no kidding.

Our started with a goal of getting to Gjirokaster. But after stopping for coffee, we were told about an incredible accommodation called Kamping Lekdush, so naturally we changed our entire plan and re arranged our whole day in order to stay there :). It proved to be a great decision.

On the way we stopped at a restaurant where the owner didn't speak any English, so we let him decide what we ate. We ate really nice food, but we couldn't finish the gigantic portion lol.

Once we got to Kamping Lekdush we hungout at one of the most beautiful waterfalls we have ever seen. What a great start.

And then -- and here's the highlight -- we played around with 500 or so sheep in a huge field at the foot of the mountains and hills. WOW! We were acting like kids but it was just incredible :).

Afterwards we hungout with the owner of Kamping Lekdush and his uncle, who are awe guys. We ate good food, drank raki, and I got to HOLD ON TO A NAZI BOMB FROM WW2! WHAAT?

The best day we've had in Albania so far, no doubt.
