There's many other videos that show how to do this, and then there's my attempt, don't blame me if anything goes wrong by following my example, I'm just a computer tech who doesn't beleive in paying someone else for oil changes and honestly I'm surprised all my vehicles still run.
I cut a few scenes of me putting in oil in this video but it was pretty repetitive. I originally put in 200cc's as you can see at the end. The owner's manual said to have it topped off just above the first line.
In the manual there is no mention of exactly how many CC's, so I went by the "book". If you follow that, it states that the first line is the minimum and this is about 200cc's. But the Vespa will have the second line of the dipstick topped off, right from the dealership!!! Clearly they know something we don't. Since most owners will put in 250cc's, I would recommend that amount as well. Use your judgement. When in doubt, take it to a professional and ask them for their opinion. I know I will.
