Audi A4 2.0 2008 Review

Okay, we've been reviewing another great Audi here, a 2008 Audi A4 no less with a 2000cc engine. It's not great in the sense that it's a high-powered version but because it is another fine example of why these cars are selling so well at the moment.
First thing I can bring to attention with this car is maybe a couple little bad points I've just figured out
The wing mirrors and although I may be being a little over critical here, they do the job but in my opinion, they could be a little bit broader towards the ends. They are at the right height.
Visibility in the rear window is very narrow but it's got enough going on.
The headrests do occupy a lot of the visual space which I think is unnecessary.
The dials on the instrument cluster are very clear, easy to read and assimilate the information and there is no congestion of dials there, in fact, it's one of the best layouts I've ever seen.
With the center console, I think there's a danger that maybe the bottom part is a little bit confusing.
If you weren't a hundred percent familiar with this console then it could involve a lot of fiddling around while you're driving which is not a good thing.
The Audi A4 I tested had a beige dashboard, an unusual color for me to come across but I think it seems to work quite well with the rest of the car. The whole dashboard design was quite like that of an aircraft' in terms of appearance, if you know what I mean?
The steering on this Audi A4 car is fantastic, it is lovely.
The car zooms along effortlessly and there's no heavy steering at all, it is very light and precise. The car seems to respond well and I can't claim it would be like that in the rain because it was a bone-dry day when I drove the car.
The engine on this Audi A4 is a little bit too small as there's no acceleration with this car at all. Most certainly not built for speed.
On the motorway, I changed the setting from the normal Drive setting to the Sports setting and I can say I really didn't notice much difference at all. If there was any difference, it was very very subtle, so that's probably a feature that was probably only going to work on higher powered versions. Having said that though, this is a great car and I can see why people are buying them and I can see why people are
keeping them.
You may find the front-wheel drive Audi A4 is not such a good option after all.
If you test drive one and it is the front-wheel-drive version, I would recommend you do it when the roads are wet because you may find the
front-wheel drive is not such a good option after all.
All in all, the Audi A4 is a very good car and one last thing I would like to add is the brakes on this car are absolutely fantastic. :D
