Joseph A. Kaplan and Sons of New York invented the colored, printed vinyl shower curtain which became so poular in the 50s and 60s. Prior to their invention, shower curtains were made of heavy white canvas. Kaplans line was called Jakson, and the brand was bought in 1987 by CHF Industries. This is mid-century modern shower curtain heaven. Enjoy!
