I'm Sewing a Dress For the First Time | Beth Harmon Style

I'm sewing a dress for the first time, Beth Harmon from "The Queen's Gambit" style. I totally forgot to mention that I was heavily inspired of one of the dresses from series on Netflix. I watched it a few weeks ago, and is obsessing over the first dress she buys as a teenager. I will probably try to sew a more similar as well, but since I wanted to make my own Christmas dress this year, I decided to make a merry inspired version.

I did not use a pattern for this. I can't stress this enough, so please don't come for all my mistakes. I struggled a lot and will most definitely use a pattern next time. I just did not find any dress pattern that suited what I wanted.
Making my own clothes is extremely satisfying in a strange way. It's like a new world has opened up, and I can finally make all of my dream clothes! No more scrolling online or endless walking through stores for the perfect, visualized outfit.
I will definitly sew more in the future.
