Welcome to Day 7 of our road trip! We start today off at Cadillac Mountain Summit, attempting to catch the sunrise before completing the Park Loop Road in Acadia. We visit Thunder Hole, Otter Cliffs and Jordan Pond House for the famous "popover". We spend some time at the Bubbles before having our last stroll around Bar Harbor and finishing the day off with a sunset at Cadillac Mountain. We filmed this on the 8th October 2025.
Reminder to always check recreation.gov to see what lockdowns/shutdowns are in place in National Parks and whether this affects your visit.
Cadillac Mountain Summit Road requires reservations all year round. You will need to get a specific sunrise one - the ticket sales open 90 days before at 10:00am EST. These sell out SO FAST!! If you don't get one then, the rest of the tickets go on sale 48 hours before your chosen date at 10:00am EST. The cost of a reservation for both sunrise and daytime is $6.00 per vehicle. This information was accurate at the time of filming.
