Kohne Sunday is a day that the Holy Church remembers all the departed Spiritual Fathers who have guided us in our spiritual journey. St. Paul reminds us "Remember your leaders, ('those who have gone before you') who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith." (Heb.13.7).
Let us remember all our departed Church Fathers. Thru our fasting and prayers may God grant them rest and comfort in the bosom of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
