How to remove and replace that bmw 335i N54 alternator the right way per BMW T.I.S, no oil loss, no coolant loss, no mess, no gaskets needed.
I recommend new alternator bolts if they are aluminum, these were steel, check with a magnet steel will stick, aluminum will not.
Aluminum bolts are one time use only.
