Throughout the film, both Kate and Humphrey wrestle with doubt. Kate worries how Humphrey would feel if she followed her parents’ plan, and Humphrey fears she might choose Garth despite their bond. The song “Love Will Lead You Back” by Taylor Dayne beautifully mirrors these feelings: the pull between duty and desire, the fear of losing one another, and the hope that real love will reunite them—even when the path isn’t guaranteed.

One of the most powerful moments comes when Humphrey believes Kate has been killed. His heartbreak captures the song’s aching lyrics about love slipping away. When Kate miraculously survives and awakens, their reunion proves that their love endures every obstacle.

Even though Garth doesn’t appear in this video montage, his role in the story sets the stage for Kate and Humphrey to realize that following the love in their hearts is the way forward.
