We discuss why the firing order on a Fox Body (302 High Output (H.O)) is different than a 302 standard output. This is due to the use of a 351 Windsor type camshaft in the Ford Small block engine (302 cubic inch, 5.0L) for higher lift, creating higher performance on this 1982 Foxbody Four-Eye Mercury Capri RS (Mercury's version of Ford Mustang GT) but changing the firing order to match a 351 Windsor motor. Listen to my personal story of how I discovered the difference after changing the intake manifold to a Holly Street Dominator Aluminum Intake in the late 1990s then had a bad misfire. #classiccars #foxbody #1982mustang #ponycar #musclecar #muchorust #barnfind #5.0 #302 #Fordracing #vintagedragcar #foureyes #capri #mercury #RS #FordGT #fordmustang #Mustanggt #caprirs #rallysport #stickshift #smallblock #smallblockford #engineperformance #hollyperformance #misfire #enginetiming #engine #1966Mustang #1965mustang #1967mustang #1968mustang #fordfairlane #crownvictoria
