Conversation with dope author Dr. David Miller!

The importance of having books that reflect our children and for those books to be written by a Black man is so crucial now more than ever! This is why I had to have author Dr. David Miller Baltimore native on the show to discuss why he decided to help our children develop a love for reading. He is definitely doing that by way of writing books that center Black boys and girls being surrounded by a community that loves and protects them. In this episode he goes straight in by reminding us of the importance of literacy and making sure our boys in particular be exposed to rites of passage programs that can help shape them into great men one day.
