Ingredients:
Cook dal
Dal - 1/4 cup
Water - 2 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1/2 tsp
Masala
Oil - 2 tsp
Red chilli - 5
Urad dal - 1tsp
Methi seeds - 1/4 tsp
Jeera/cumin - 1/2 tsp
Coriander seeds - 3 tsp
Hing - 1/4 tsp
Curryleaves - 10
Fresh coconut - 1 cup
Water - 1 cup
Amaranth leaves/red spinach - 1 bunch
Tamarind - 1 medium lemon size
Jaggery 1-2 tbsp
Salt - 1.5 -2 tsp or to taste
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Water 2 cup
Tempering
Ghee - 2tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Garlic - 10 crushed
