Mahi are definitely one of my favorite species to catch and we find them a good portion of the year. Generally during rainy season really starting in June and all the way through December is the best. Rivers push out debris which congregates on current lines offshore of the lodge after some heavy rains and these areas make for mahi magnets! Check out the method we use today.
