Cleveland area weather forecast: Snow chances this weekend

Your 11 p.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Dec. 5, 2025: A storm system to our north Saturday will bring clouds and a few snow showers. Highs will push the low 30s. By Sunday, we'll be tracking a storm system in from the west. Snow showers will overspread northern Ohio, but will also be running into drier air — so accumulations will remain light for those that see snow Sunday. Temps will once again push the freezing mark.

Next week looks busy weather-wise. Multiple clipper systems will line up to our northwest and plunge into the Great Lakes, bringing quick hits of accumulating snow and reinforced cold air. The first arrives on Tuesday with a quick hit of accumulating snow.

The second will arrive shortly thereafter with a Wednesday impact of snow that will likely changeover or mix with a cold rain for a bit. Cold air will funnel back in Thursday behind this low, bringing lake snow chances to the region.

We'll also be watching a storm system Friday into Saturday that could pack a bit of a bigger punch -- too soon to talk details, but it's a low we'll need to watch closely as it looks to have more moisture with it. This would translate to more snow as we head into next weekend potentially. This December continues to impress in terms of the cold, snowy start!
