A personal favourite this one, a song built on the E major scale, uses the open string octaves(Open E string and 7th fret on A string) and fretted octaves to build a nice bass-line. A technique very often used by bassists to mix electronic music and rock elements together.
Recording process for this was a simple approach, only the DI sound without any plugins and EQ was used to replace the original recorded take. The knob configurations were: Volume(75%), Tone(50%), Gain knob on interface(20%).
