It took me many years to learn the lessons that buying materialistic things don't bring joy, fulfillment or happiness. In a world where we're constantly being sold to on social media, it's hard to not give into consumerism and buying things to fill voids. I've finally learned this lesson after 10 years of intense consumerism. I hope this video inspires you to think about your purchases more mindfully so you don't end up wasting money like me.

Purchasing items and treating yourself isn't inherently bad, it's when it's done out of a feeling of lack that can get you caught up in a never-ending cycle of constantly wanting "the next best thing".
