October 2025 trip to Morocco. After landing in Marrakesh (or as the French say Marrakech), we traveled south to the High Atlas Mountains, to stay at Sir Richard Branson’s retreat the Kasbah Tamadot. It’s an incredible oasis of relaxation and beauty. The kasbah is a recently restored 106 year old fortress owned by a ruling French Governor. The design, gardens, service and experience is exquisite.
Then back to Marrakesh, to explore the cities souks, in the heart of the Marrakech Medina. It’s every bit as magical as I hoped. We stayed at Riad Kheirredine located within the old walled city near Jena ell-Fnaa square. We explored the legendary souks and experienced the centuries old Hammam ritual bath.
