I’ve arrived in a new city in Brazil — Itanhaém — but the arrival didn’t go quite as planned.
After leaving Santos, I assumed the bus would drop me in the city centre. Instead, I found myself on the outskirts with no SIM card, limited Wi-Fi, and a long walk ahead.
In this vlog, I share my honest first impressions of Itanhaém, navigating a tricky arrival, finding a much-needed café with Wi-Fi, and eventually settling into my hostel by the sea.
This is real backpacking in Brazil — the awkward arrivals, problem-solving on the go, and small moments of relief that come with slow travel and daily vlogging.
