Feather Damascus With Inverted Tang (Drawings of Forging Steps)

Today's video will demonstrate the making of a Gaucho knife with an inverted tang in the feather pattern. The handle was made from fossilized mammoth teeth.

This time I added some drawings during the forging of the steel to make it easier for laymen to understand and help other cutlers who want to understand the pattern. (I ask anyone who liked the idea to comment so I know if it's worth continuing to do this.)
In my opinion, this pattern and its variations are the most difficult to execute, and the most beautiful to see.

This model was the idea of ​​my teacher, from whom I learned a good part of what I know about cutlery, I just replicated it by adding my own characteristics. It is a very robust piece that requires little material other than the steel itself. I know I haven't gone into much detail, but little by little I must create the tools that make this easier.

O vídeo de hoje demonstrará a confecção de uma faca gaúcha com espiga invertida no padrão pluma. A empunhadura foi feita com dente de mamute fossilizado.

Dessa vez acrescentei alguns desenhos durante o forjamento do aço para facilitar o entendimento dos leigos e ajudar outros cuteleiros que queiram entender o padrão. (Peço a quem gostou da ideia que comente para que eu saiba se vale a pena continuar fazendo isso.)
A meu ver esse padrão e suas variações são os mais difíceis de serem executados, e os mais belos de se ver.

Esse modelo foi ideia do meu professor, com quem aprendi boa parte do que sei sobre cutelaria, eu apenas replico adicionando características minhas. É uma peça de constituição muito robusta e que exige pouca quantidade de material além do próprio aço. Sei que não forjei muito detalhadamente, mas aos poucos devo criar as ferramentas que facilitam isso.
