Dave and I spent our first time in White Sands National Park. It had just got designated a National Park (instead of a National Monument) a week before we arrived. We experienced an amazing sunset, an awesome two mile hike in the dunes, a guided sunset stroll from the park ranger and on our last day our dogs took a hike with us. This is a very dog friendly National Park! We will definitely be back.
