Stone House Renovation - Part 12: The roof truss

The next big step was the roof truss. Inspite of the fire risk, we wanted to use wooden beams because wood is more environmentally friendly than a concrete/steel structure. The roof will later be covered in slate so it should be reasonable protected from the outside.

It took about 4 weeks for two people to build the timber roof truss.
