Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your path."
In our trusting the Lord for help in our trying situation, sometimes God will direct us to counselors for help; advice; etc.
Then there are other times when God wants to bypass counselors and He wants us coming directly to Him for our help.
In all situations in life, God is GREATLY pleased when we go directly to Him for help (and/or advice; wisdom).
