The two front ports on the PlayStation Classic are limited to a max output of 5v @ 100mA. This causes issues for modding as most USB storage devices are built to use at least 500-800mA. This mod removes the 100mA limit.
There are two methods shown. The first being soldering two resistors together to create a short. The second method uses a conductive ink pen which is a bit easier and less permanent.
