Charlie [X-ISM] PLAYTHROUGH

Charlie, known as Nash in Japan and sometime as Charlie Nash, is a first lieutenant in the United States Air Force. He is first mentioned by name in Street Fighter II, where Guile’s main motivation to enter the tournament is to avenge his apparent death to M. Bison and Shadoloo. Charlie’s storyline can be confusing as he is killed during the event of the first two Alpha games, but survive his encounter with M. Bison in Alpha 3. However, Guile’s ending in Alpha 3 states that he also dies in an explosion at the same time as he is preventing M. Bison to escape.

In Street Fighter Alpha 3, Charlie is sending undercover to stop M. Bison once for all. During his mission, he encounters Cammy, who is brainwashed by M. Bison and later Rolento, who happen to be near the Shadoloo base to seek the Psycho Drive for his utopia. Then, M. Bison appears in person to confront Charlie.

Charlie has the same special move as Guile. It is heavily implied in the storyline that when Charlie and Guile meet each other in the army and became friends, he would teach him some of his technique, such as his Sonic Boom and his Somersault. Unlike Guile, Charlie can throw his projectile with one hand and perform the later move more gracefully. Charlie has three super combos. His first, the Somersault Justice is essentially the same super combo as Guiles in Super Street II Turbo, but instead of doing twice, Charlies does it three times. His second super combo, the Sonic Break, allow him to shoot multiple Sonic Boom in succession. His third super combo is the Crossfire Blitz, which consists of dealing multiple punches and kicks in a combo.

The X-ISM mode is based on many mechanics of Super Street Fighter II Turbo. Every character has the following mechanics.
• Longer Guard Power Gauge
• All basic moves and special moves do more damage. Characters using X-ISM will take more damage as well
• Super Combos does not do more damage
• No air blocks
• No ground recovery roll
• No Alpha Counters
• No Taunting (This does not apply to Dan)
• One Super Combo per character. Performing it deplete the super combo bar complety

In X-ISM mode, Charlie keeps both of his special moves and the Somersault Justice super combo.
