I use this overrun coupler (PTO clutch) from Yesterday’s Tractors on my 1950 Ford 8N when bush or brush hogging. This is a necessary piece to allow for safe bush hogging on an 8N! Without an overrun coupler, a bush hog can push an 8N forward after the tractor’s clutch is engaged because the PTO is directly coupled to the rear axel. The tractor is essentially pushed until the blade stops turning, but this unsafe condition is eliminated with an overrun coupler.
