Pineapple Upside Down Cake:
Ingredients
1 box Yellow or Pineapple cake mix
1- 20oz can of Canned Pineapple slices in juice
Saving Juice from canned pineapple instead of water that is called for on mix box adding only enough water to make equivalent.
1- jar 8oz Maraschino Cherries
1 -cup packed Brown Sugar
½ cup Butter
Large eggs-listed on box
Vegetable Oil-listed on box
13 X 9-inch baking pan
Plate larger than the baking pan to turn the cake over into
The ingredients above with amounts are what you will need no matter what brand cake mix you use but you must follow the directions on the box of the cake mix brand you choose for the eggs and vegetable oil.
As the oven is preheating to 350
Place butter in the cake pan and heat in the oven until melted. If using a glass pan you can melt the butter in in microwave.
Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over melted butter. Arrange pineapple slices on brown sugar. Put a cherry in the center of each pineapple slice.
Prepare batter as stated on box using all ingredients above with the pineapple juice instead of water.
Pour over prepared pan that has the brown sugar, pineapples, and cherries.
Bake 40-45 minutes or until done. Test with toothpick.
Once the cake proves done let set for 1 minute then using a butter knife run around the sides of the pan.
Now take the large plate and set on top of the pan and flip over.
Leave the pan on top for about 5 minutes to allow juice to absorb in cake. Then remove pan.
Let stand for 30 minutes before serving warm which is the perfect time but is just as good room temperature.
Store refrigerated.
Breakfast Pizza:
Ingredients:
Dough balls
Flour
Fresh eggs
Heavy cream
Hot breakfast sausage
Maple/plain bacon
White mild cheddar
Garlic salt
Italian seasoning
Salted butter
Salt
Pepper
Recipe:
Cook bacon and sausage. Put down flour and stretch out the pizza dough evenly. Next, you
need to make the egg wash. To do this, crack about 6 eggs (this is enough for 2 pizzas) into a
bowl, add a bit of heavy whipping cream, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread the pizza crust
with melted butter. Sprinkle garlic salt across the pizza, especially around the edge to add flavor
because it doesn’t have any toppings. Use mild or sharp cheddar cheese/your cheese of choice,
add the whole bag and push out the cheese to the edge of the dough. Add toppings (bacon, hot
sausage, or regular sausage). Then, drizzle on the egg wash mixture, swirl the egg starting from
outside and working your way in. Put the pizza in the oven at 400℉. Cook the pizza until the
edges are crispy and brown and the egg starts to sit up on the pizza. It should take about 20
minutes, but keep your eye on the pizza because this may vary.
