SWFL Eagles 1-12-26. GROUND OBSERVERS STOP TRAFFIC at NEST to Remove RK; Seen on the Cam!

Video opens with M15 and E26 on the nest. M15 moves to the veranda, then flies down to the ground/road/sidewalk. I could not tell where exactly he landed, other than on the road side of the pasture fence (zoom view). As he was clearly after RK/roadkill, he would likely be in the road. He was there for approximately forty seconds (Using Cam3 time; cam times are not synced). Three ground observers in the church yard move toward the road and M15. The first vehicle that approaches M15 is a white vehicle, and M15 flies up/out right as the vehicle gets to him (zoom view). M15 flies to a front pine. The three ground observers come into view on the front sidewalk area. A tractor trailer comes to a stop, and one ground observer throws the RK over the fence, into the pasture. After everyone walked away, M15 flies to the ground in the pasture to eat from the RK.

After a trip to the nest, and F23's arrival at the nest, M15 returns to the RK to eat. He tries to carry the RK. It is too heavy, and he drags it. He ends up flying to the nest with a piece of the RK, to conduct a feeding. He has to pull a stuck piece of entrails off a stick, and E26 gets busy trying to eat the entrails. F23 also eats, and joins M15 in feeding E26. M15 leaves the nest. F23 tries to get a piece of entrails that is under E26. It can be clearly seen the entrails are not in E26's beak/mouth/throat. F23 pulls on the entrails, and it wraps around E26's head. E26 tries to take a bite as F23 moves in; however, she gets the entrails and takes them off the nest.

Normally I do not include footage of visitors at the nest in my videos (privacy reasons). Since the three ground observers cannot be clearly seen in the footage, I included them in the video. They are not named, as I did not request permission to include that. Thank you for moving the roadkill.

07:25. M15 tries to carry the RK, too heavy, drags it.
07:39. M15 takes flight with a piece of RK.
07:47. M15 to nest piece of RK; entrails catch on a stick, Cam1.
08:02. Cam2 view, M15 with the RK.
08:24. M15 pulls the stuck entrails into the nest; Note his huge crop.
08:38. E26 gets busy eating entrails.
09:41. F23 feeds E26, Cam2.
11:58. A piece of entrails is under E26.
12:09. E26 nibbles on a small stick.
12:37. F23 tries to get the entrails from under E26, who is preening.
13:13. F23 pulls the entrails, which wrap over E26's head.
13:20. The entrails are not in E26's beak/mouth/throat.
13:42. E26 tries to take a bite of the entrails as F23 moves in.
13:58. F23 takes the entrails off the nest.
