So here's a guide / tutorial on how to replace the head unit / CD player on a MINI R56. Firstly, I have to inform you that you cannot upgrade the head unit to one with a satnav, or bluetooth etc, if it didn't already have those features.
You would need a new antenna that goes with the head unit, and to have the entire vehicle programmed by BMW.
This tutorial video doesn't feature any music, as I know there are a lot of haters of having music in the video.
