I sat about trying to change the pollen filter on the 106, but it turned out to be a much more involved job than i had expected. There is no room to get it out with all the parts in place, and in order to remove the filter the wiper arms, scuttle, and wiper mechanism need to be removed. Once they are out of the way its a simple enough thing to chance. But the filter itself is not very sophisticated, its unlikely that it keeps out pollen just large leaves perhaps, its a bit hard to justify all this work for this sort of filter. But if you need to change the filter, or your wiper mechanism is broken then this should be of use.
This is probably an easier job on a Left hand drive car if the wiper mechanism is on the left hand side.
