He Had No Chance… Until A Tour Guide Called Us

This young seal was spotted by a tour guide, entangled in what looks like industrial plastic sheeting or packaging. It’s the kind of plastic no animal should ever encounter. Rigid, tight, unyielding. But once again, it was wrapped around a helpless seal’s neck.
Thankfully, someone noticed. They called. We responded. We know we’ll never be able to patrol every beach, every rock, every wave. But thanks to Namibia’s community of tour guides, tourists, and ocean lovers, we don’t have to do it alone.
It takes more than a rescue team to stop ocean plastic pollution. It takes all of us.
Let’s keep working together. Let’s stop this from happening in the first place.
