When deciding how to train for my upcoming powerlifting meet, I decided to try PWRBLD Intermediate on the Boostcamp app. Now that the meet is done and the numbers are in, was this the right call for my training?
When reviewing an app or program, I score it out of ten, assigning 0-2 points for each of the following criteria:
Effectiveness: Does it work as stated?
does the program's content match the stated goals for the target population? Is a clear means of progression built in?
Usability: is it convenient?
is it easy to read and follow? Does it come with a convenient logging method?
Flexibility: how easy is it to adapt?
does it offer guidance on how to make substitutions?
Enjoyability: Is it fun? Safe? Fulfilling?
Are the workouts fun or satisfying? Not too easy and not too hard?
Value: Are you getting your money's worth?
