Recent events have seen a huge variety of aircraft being retired, never to be seen flying in the near future. With the demise of Flybe in February, the Bombardier Dash8 Q400 has since become a rare type to now see inside the UK.
Another example is in the Canaries where Binter Canaries have operated the Bombardier CRJ-1000 since they took delivery of their first example back in 2017 (having previously been operated by Air Nostrum). The type has been in storage since European traffic declined due to the recent downturn in travel back in March 2020.
