On this episode, Amigo Dominic, Amigo Mike, Amigo Paul and I taste a destilado de agave Blanco. This is Caballito Cerrero Azul Blanco 46!

That's right, this is technically/legally not a Tequila, but a Destilado de Agave. This Blanco comes in at 46% ABV, 92 proof.

"Caballito Cerrero is a tequila (or, more accurately, a "destilado de agave") brand known for its traditional production methods and commitment to honoring the historical roots of tequila production in Jalisco, Mexico. Founded in 1950 by Don Alfonso Jimenez Rosales, it stands as one of the oldest tequila distilleries, tracing its lineage back to the 16th century. Caballito Cerrero distinguishes itself by not always adhering to modern tequila regulations (NOM), choosing instead to label its products as "destilado de agave" to preserve its traditional practices. "
