There's tougher watches in the G-shock range, there is also many cheaper watches from Casio - like the F91W and the Duro... but if you wanted a single watch to use every day that could be dressed up or down for all occasions, would be tough enough to withstand a few knocks and very reliable with a tonne of features without the digital display... well I think this Oceanus might be the one. That said, there is no perfect watch...
