In this song, the gopis are requesting Krishna to return their clothes.
Little Krishna has stolen the Sarees of Gopis who were bathing in the Yamuna River. The Gopis were performing Katyayana vrata and as per the rules of the 'Snana' ritual, one is not supposed to bath naked . While The Lord Himself played a prank on Gopis, He taught a lesson, not only to the women of Vrindavan but also to everyone regarding clothing, the rules of Snana (bathing) ritual and public behavior.
