Hello! 안녕하세요!
Today we're going to make Dak Jjim (also called Jjim Dak), or Korean Braised Chicken. It's originally from a city called Andong (안동) in Korea, so it's commonly called Andong Jjimdak (안동찜닭). This is a braised chicken dish with vegetables and Korean glass noodles.
It's a soy sauce based dish, but has a bit of a kick from peppers. You can adjust the spiciness to your taste! It's packed with flavor and so, so good!

Ingredients
2 1/2 lb Chicken wings (or any cut of chicken)
1 medium potato
1/2 medium carrot (~3oz)
1 medium onion
1 Korean Red Pepper
1 Korean Green Pepper (Use any peppers you like, or none at all)
3~4 scallions
6~7 oz Korean glass noodles (I'm using the flat ones, but you can use any kind!)
(For blanching)
1/4 cup Korean liquor (Soju)
1 Tbsp coarse salt (or any other salt)
(Seasonings)
6 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1/2 Tbsp Rice Oligo Syrup
1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 Tbsp grated ginger (Juice only)
1/2 Tbsp sesame oil
1 1/2 cups water
