The Linxtech 1802 (DJI Tello clone) has been sent over by RCmoment for a test. Everything shared in the video are my own uninfluenced thoughts.

The model may be found with a few different names online: Linxtech / Cofight 1802, Realacc R20, Redpawz Blast. If you’ve seen it with another name – please share what you know in the comments below.
This drone might be small, but is in fact fun to fly, and can be blazing fast.

Unboxing:
It arrives in a decent box. Quite small, well protected, and sort of cute. The first thing you cannot unsee is this warning about the motors. The remote, it is powered by 3AA batteries. The antennas are just for fun, and if you accidentally break any of them, this will have zero impact on the coverage. There are only two spare props, and you can see a USB-based charger. Getting a Powerbank is a good idea, as you can charge the battery on-the-go.
Overall the quality of the drone is rather good. While materials used are not that great either, the construction of the arms is very well designed and looks almost impossible to break. Even heavy crashes should be ok and not causing much of damage. The component I liked the most was the battery – it is a custom one, with special plastic shell, and that allows switching batteries to happen within seconds and very easily. Therefore getting a few spares is a good idea if you want to fly a bit longer.
The drone is arriving with the most common for 2018 automations – altitude hold, which greatly reduces the need for height corrections, there is headless mode – for those that find the orientation a bit challenging, and also – one key return function.

The takeoff can be done with the dedicated button, or manually. Note that there are two ways controlling the Linxtech 1802 – you can do that via the smartphone app – and the range will be reduced to about 20 meters, or you can use the transmitter, which at least doubles that value. And is giving you greater overall experience.
There are a few things that you may notice – the drone is very stable. Because of the small size and small props – the motors areworking at a very high rpm, but are remaining relatively quiet.
The three speeds will suit any style of flying, and the fastest one is mind-blowing for such a cheap drone! According to some online resources, the coreless motors are of type 8520, which are used in the lower grade racing drones. And that explains quite well their great performance. The FPV stream is quite stable within 15 meters, but going further than that will drop the signal. It is unfortunate not to see a microSD slot for the camera – everything you record will be kept on your smartphone, and if you do need good recordings – you have to keep the drone closer to yourself.
There’s the possibility of making flips – at least while the battery is still fresh.
The total flight time with WiFI and FPV on was around 10 minutes and 10 seconds. Without the WiFi-stream, you may expect a minute or two more.
My opinion is that thus buddy is a worthy DJI Ryze Tello clone. And you will certainly have fun flying it.
