Living with Endometriosis and Chronic Illness in my 20's

hello my loves 💕🎀 it’s been so long since we last spoke. it’s been one year since my last youtube video, and it’s been almost two years since i slowly stopped posting content to focus on building Meide. in 2023 i was juggling two full time jobs as both a content creator and business owner, and my body couldn’t keep up with the stress or work. i was definitely burnt out.

in 2024 i began to get incredibly sick. i think all the constant work and stress was finally catching up to me. this video talks about some of the things i’ve experienced while searching for a diagnosis, from constant blood work, CT scans, ER trips, and dangerous weight loss. by last december i was in constant excruciating pain and wheelchair bound. i was crawling on hands and knees to get around my house.

i began sharing my story on Instagram in September and was completely overwhelmed by the amount of support i received. but more than anything — i was shocked at the amount of women who could relate to my situation. the stomach churning pain, nausea, vomiting, and losing consciousness, just to name a few — all caused by our periods. since then i’ve done incredible amounts of research and continue to fight the american insurance system and medical mysogyny to get my own diagnosis. it takes on average 7-10 years to be diagnosed with endometriosis because of how commonly overlooked it is. i was furious.

since then, i’ve made the decision to go back into content creation full time with the help of a new agency, editor, and incredibly supportive friends. there's so much i want to say now, and this first comeback video is incredibly special to me. i’m nervous opening up so much, but i know that it serves a greater purpose. i hope this video can raise awareness for women’s health and endometriosis.
