The Naga Common Platform (NCP) on Monday held a Stakeholders’ Rally at the Agri Expo Centre, 4th Mile, Chümoukedima, calling for an early and honourable solution to the long-pending Naga political issue. Organised by the NGBFPC in collaboration with apex civil society organisations, the rally drew representatives from various tribal bodies, church groups, and community leaders.
During the event, the NCP unanimously adopted a resolution reaffirming support for the Framework Agreement and the Agreed Position signed between the Government of India, NSCN (IM), and the Working Committee of NNPGs. The resolution urged the Centre to deliver a political solution without further delay, stating that decades of political struggle have placed a heavy burden on the Naga people.
Organising committee members signed the document, emphasizing unity and collective responsibility in pursuing lasting peace in the Naga areas.
