This week Cupcake and Sylvia finish up their sister's epic road trip adventure in Southern Colorado! Episode 5 continues over into Durango, Colorado after they spent some time near Page, Arizona seeing some of the amazing scenery there!
Starting off in Durango and heading up the Million Dollar Highway to Silverton and on to Ouray is an amazing experience. Cupcake and I were able to make the drive a couple of times this past summer, so I'm very happy for them that they were able to see the epic views, especially with all the snow!
After continuing north to Montrose, they headed east to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, another place Cupcake and I love in the area. After enjoying the incredible vistas there they started the drive back east, but not before stopping at Royal Gorge Bridge near Canon City, Colorado. There was a lot of snow and ice so they weren't able to do some of the typical things you can enjoy at the park (Sky Coaster, etc.), but they still enjoyed the beauty of the place!
After that they took a couple of days to get back to Louisiana, wrapping up a fun and exciting road trip through Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado! Cupcake can't wait to hit the road again, so stay tuned for lots more adventures!
