In this video, I tag along with Matt as he runs sound for a five band Sunday show with almost no changeover time. It’s part of Blue Ed, a local program that teaches blues to the younger generation. Each band took the stage with a unique setup, and a panel of mentors gave live feedback on their performance.
From horns to congas, rotating amps to student musicians, every set had its own curveballs. We used an M32 console, Martin line arrays, EV monitor wedges, Shure Beta 58s on vocals, and Sennheiser mics on drums to keep things locked in.
