An overview of the components and connections, solutions and maintenance of my Fume Scrubber used to Scrub NOx and other fumes produced during the refining process. The Fume Scrubber removes the majority of the toxic and polluting fumes generated by the reactions of acids and metals during he recovery and refining of precious metals.

There are many ways to build a DIY Fume Scrubber. In my case, I chose simplicity of design, construction and maintenance, over lowest overall cost. With proper monitoring and care, the life of the components is more than long enough for may purposes.
