🚇 Mumbai Metro Green Line 4, Line 4A & Mogharpada Depot Progress Update

Mumbai Metro Green Line 4 (Kasarvadavali – Wadala, 32.32 km, 30 stations) and its extension Line 4A (Kasarvadavali – Gaimukh, 2.7 km, 2 stations) together form the longest metro corridor in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region with a total length of 35.02 km.

One of the most important facilities for this line is the Mogharpada Depot in Thane, which will serve as a crucial hub for train stabling, maintenance, and operations. The depot is being developed at a cost of ₹905 crore, and as of mid-2025, construction work is actively progressing.

The daily ridership of Line 4 & 4A is projected at 10–12 lakh passengers, making it a game-changer for easing traffic congestion and improving connectivity between Thane, Eastern Suburbs, and South Mumbai.
