TOMRA's AUTOSORT™ with GAINnext™ revolutionizes PET recycling by efficiently removing opaque objects, textiles and foils from PET streams. This deep learning technology automates sorting of hard-to-classify materials that traditional optical sorting struggles with.
The system is capable of processing thousands of objects per millisecond with up to 2,000 ejections per minute, delivering 33 times more throughput than manual sorting. The result is new revenue streams by recovering valuable light blue and transparent PET materials. Recyclers can also integrate GAINnext™ into existing lines to boost PET recovery and purity without the need for adding additional lines.
