This is the first in our second series of bulk 22LR ammo tests. This time we are testing the Federal Bulk 22lr, commonly refered to as the Federal red box.
Our testing procedure has varied slightly from our previous tests of the bulk CCI Blazer. As the current ammo shortage has made it increasingly difficult to aquire the number rounds we need to continue with our original testing procedure. Regardless I think we still have a representative data set to proceed so we are going to drive ahead in our future 22lr ammo tests.
So up this time is the Federal bulk 36gr copper plated hollow point, 1260 FPS, 550 round box, as fired from a stock internal Ruger MKII 22/45. Enjoy.
